Playgroup Birthdays!

Today we had playgroup and Lee's house. Since I'm new to the blogging addiction I forgot my camera. So, luckly the blogging queen (AKA Katie Kenworthy) had hers. So, I stole pics from her blog to share! Jack had a really good time playing with his friends, and I got some great mommy time! Here is one of Jack's future girlfriends, Caroline.
He saw this horse and took off running! The rest of the children followed.
Jack and Caroline washing up for cupcakes!
As many of you know he has a very difficult time sitting still. Here I am trying to keep him in his seat. Don't you love the hat! It lasted less than 10 seconds...
Here is Lee the birthday boy!! He turned 3!

Giddy Up!

Thought I would share a recent pic of Jack on his horse Grandma and Grandpa got for his 1st birthday. He gets on and off all by himself. Sometimes mommy even catches him riding it backwards! He is getting to be a big boy!

Mr. Fix It!

Here is Jack helping Daddy fix the dishwasher. I thought it was precious that we went over and picked up the screwdriver to help. Chris didn't think it was so cute when Jack started stabbing him in the back with it :) He was a big helper!

Jack loves playing with Austin

My friend Mindy and I get together once a week to let the boys play. Actually it if more for us to talk :) This is her son, Austin. Jack loves playing with Austin. In fact, it is the only name that he can say. We caught them being sweet and had to take this picture. They are spirited just a like, so it isn't uncommon for us to have to "encourage" them to share quite a bit! They are a lot of fun!

Memorial day = FUN!

We went to Chuck and Shelia's house for the Memorial weekend. They are a couple at church that have taken us under their wing. We even had to spend Christmas with them the first year Jack was born. All of our family was too sick to come. Anyway, the food was incredible as usual! Jack and Jameson (Sarah's little boy) had a blast! They are 7 months a part and double trouble! They played in the sprinkler, rode their four wheelers, played on the swing set, and ended the night with a bath together (they are going to kill me one day for taking pictures of that!). Jack LOVED the sprinkler!! He played forever in it. He would run laps around the outside, and when he got brave he would go into the middle until he would get so cold and out of breath! It was crazy for me to watch my baby running around playing! It is hard to believe he will be 18 months in a week!!! He was screaming as I took this picture!Buddies!!
Chris taught him how to try to catch the water with his mouth! So funny!
The classic Jack smile!
Car crash! As you can see it was caused by sweet Jack! (Ha!)

He loves his food!

I don't think yogurt is supposed to be that color blue! He loves it!
Mr. Independent!

Chris no longer can eat an ice cream sandwich by himself!

The dreaded cut!

Well, we've had our first major accident! I substitute taught on Monday so Jack went to his babysitter Lillie's house. Well, she met me at the door when I picked him up to warn me that he had fallen. I froze as I saw the band-aid on his forehead...dreading what was underneath it. I also noticed blood on his shirt and Lillie's pants. That's right folks...he hit his head on her fireplace! I got in the car and cried. I believe it was more tramatic for me than him! He bounced back nicely and was actually trying to headbutt Chris the next day...BOYS!! Here's a good look at the damage.

I don't know why I even try!

This is what happens when you try to fold laundry while Jack is awake. This happened in a matter of seconds...of course it was so funny I had to take pictures so he proceeded to throw out more clothes.
Can't you just hear him saying "Cheese!"

Nothing like a good Campfire

Nana, Pa Pa, Aunt Sheshe and Uncle Chad all came down to Paris Landing for a weekend of camping in Mom and Dad's new RV. We had a lot of fun except trying to sleep while Ashley and Chad took turns snoring :) Jack played on the playground and rode in the wagon. There was a big Bass tournament going on and Jack fell asleep in the wagon on the way back to the RV. It is always fun "camping" with the Hendrix family!! Right Jill! Jack ate on this biscuit the entire wagon ride down to the lake and finally finished it on the way back. It was leftover from breakfast...He was so cute!
CRASHED after a long day of non-stop playing!
The Hendrix mobile!
Jack loved camping! Here he is sitting in his camping chair. He was soooo funny going up and down the slide a million times! I think he wore his papa and nana out!

Jumping on the train

Well, after hearing about all of my friends and their blogs, I decided to start one of my own. It does make complete sense considering none of our families live in Paris! (Oh how I wish you did!) So, be patient with me as I learn how this all works. I'm looking forward to sharing all of our funny ( and not so funny) Jack stories!
