My mom fixed an amazing meal as usual and the Hendrix side of the family came over to join the fun! We definitely didn't go without and Jack came home spoiled of course! I love family traditions and it was a memorable Christmas spent with the ones I love the most in this world! Oh, and it started snowing when we were opening presents! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a white Christmas!!! Jack's new smart cycle was a winner!

a new friend...Jonah

I look forward to a visit from my good friend Amy every Christmas when she comes to Paris to visit family! This year Jonah was so big! It is crazy how quickly they grow! Amy says that my Jack stories remind her of Jonah...so she needs prayers! HA! He was so sweet playing with Jack's trains....Jack on the other hand didn't know quite what to think about him visiting...I think if they had a day or so they would be big buddies! It was a good day! Amy and her husband will be leaving for Brazil later this year. They have worked very hard to raise enough support to move there and teach the people of Brazil about the word of God! They have commited to five years and I admire their faith and willingness to do such a hard work! Here is a pic of them from last year...told you they have grown!

Together with Friends!

We had our traditional get together with the Cate and Weatherford families. Becky and Mindy were two of my closest friends while teaching! I miss seeing them everyday!!! They are great friends and it was a good night of fun! Thanks Mindy for hosting us!
Precious Peyton! He is the best baby ever!

The Cate family rockin it out on guitar hero!! So funny!!

Becky loved it! I think she was beating Tom here :)

Here's all the kiddos! We were missing Ashton!

Paschall Magical Christmas

Catching up on Christmas posts....buckle your seatbelts!!!
We ventured to the big city of Hazel, KY...Ha! There is a family there that fixes their house up with thousands of Christmas lights and animates it to music!!! It was so much fun! Jack LOVED the "hot, hot, hot, hot chocolate" song from Polar Express!!! It was worth going just to see his face when that song came on!

Ornament Exchange!

East Wood ladies have a tradition of getting together every year for an ornament exchange. I've never been to one, but it was so much fun!!! A little food before the party!
Danette was the hostess...she took out all the ornaments so we could see what we were up against!

They put all the ornaments in the middle and play dirty santa. It got crazy! We had 44 people there and I had the last number....my ADD was almost too much to handle by the time my turn rolled around ha! I ended up with a beautiful silver and red butterfly! Looks gorgeous on my white tree!

Santa! I know him!!!

Here are a few pics from story hour last week: Can you believe how BIG he is!?
Snack time!

Santa came to visit story hour last week! Jack was so excited...he asked him for a game for the Wii! Hopefully Santa will have a Diego Wii game in his bag ;)

The kids opted not to each the lunch served....skipped straight to the cake and ice cream!
Getting ready to blow out the candles
