Jack loved Christmas morning this year!! He totally understood what was going on! He kept singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town!" The morning after christmas he woke me and Chris up and said, " I want to see Santa!" He thought we were going to get toys again! So cute!
Here he is cooking it up on his new BBQ grill!

Playgroup Mommies and husbands kick back!

These girls (and the other few that weren't able to come) are my sanity when I need to get out! I dropped off the face of the earth for a little while this year and they were glad to welcome me back with open arms! I am so blessed to have made such a great home here! Let me just tell you these girls are so much fun! This one is blurry but still cute!Corey and Melody - the hosts!
Fred and Jennifer- I often unload "a truck load of crazy" on her!

Emily and Wayne- I loved hearing some of their stories!!

I don't get many pics of just me and chris! I love him!

Katie and Chip - Can you say entertainment!

Okay for real....this was the talk of the night! (Notice the notepad on the table too...) I will let Melody explain...all I have to say is we can all just skip therapy and just have one of these dinners once a month! It was quite the therapy session for all! :) Of course I would never tell the details without the permission of those involved...playgroup mommy confidentiality!

What pen??

Jack is a little sneaky these days!

Party like a 2 yr old!

We went for the much smaller scale party this year, and it went quite well! Jack freaked out when he saw all the Thomas the Train stuff!! He kept running around and would stop every once in a while to say, "Mommy, PARTY!" It was so cute! He really got into his presents this year too! It is amazing how much they change in just one year!Mary Kate helping out with some of the cookies!
Jack rockin' out on his new guitar!

He wanted to take all of his presents out of the boxes right away!

That look says it all!

Never a dull moment with these two!

He LOVED us singing happy birthday to him!

Mommies trying to get kids to eat during a party...not an easy task!

My sister did the cupcakes! Thanks Ash!

Jack meets Santa!

All of my awesome playgroup friends have raved about story hour at Rhea school...so Jack and I decided to give it a try! It was so PRECIOUS! Jack was pretty calm taking it all in...not really wanting to participate in the story, but definately a good first day! It took a little persuading, but Jack sat on Santa's lap!! I was so excited! I'm not sure he was really trusting this Santa...but at least I got a quick pic!

After decorating his cookie!

Look at carefully he is spreading the icing on his cookie! I love this pic!

As you can see the rest of the class is listening to the story...Jack well...he had an itch! I thought I was going to die!
He loved play time!!

Nana and Papa bring a birthday surprise!

Nana and Papa can't make the birthday party (much smaller scale this year) this weekend, so they came last weekend. They brought a wooden train set to go with Jack's new train table! He LOVES his trains, and will actually play in his room by himself with them...crazy! Papa showing Jack how the crane works...so cute!
Thank you Papa and Nana! We love you!

Jack Butler turns 2!!

So, last Friday my baby turned 2! Wow has the time flown by!!! He is so precious to us, and we may be going crazy, but he is the greatest blessing in our lives! Thank you to all our friends and family for the love you have shown our Jack! We are so blessed!
