Everybody Stampede!

Our family LOVES the Dixe Stampede! I don't know if it is the eating a whole chicken with your hands or the smell of horses while you dine that keeps bringing us back, but we alway come back! We got an opportunity to go once more, and it was a blast! Jack LOVED it as usual!Here is the picture from this year...This was taken last year around the very same time...he is growing sooo quickly!

This is soooo typical me and Chris...I can be a bit overwhelming. Chris still isn't use to it after 7 years :) He loves me!

Our nice getaway!

The very first weekend in September we were fortunate to get away to the Smokey Mountains for a week long preacher's workshop. It was so uplifting to be around such amazing Christian people with a common purpose in life! We were fortunate to have the help of the East Wood congregation in order for us to be able to go...we are blessed! Here are a few pics from the trip...more will be posted. I promise we went to workshops :) All these pics were taken during the down time.Jack was hilarious with these bears! He had to hug BOTH of them everytime we passed them to go to our room...he is so funny!

Nana and Papa were able to make the trip also...Jack stayed in the camper with them a few nights. Here he is feeding the ducks that visited each day...they also pooped all over Nana's rug that night! That is an entirely different story!
