Oh yeah! Did someone say fireworks?!

Nana and Papa had a big get together at their house on Friday! It was a lot of fun! We ate way too much, attempted to pitch washers, watched the kids swim, and ended the night with fireworks everywhere we looked. We went over to my Aunt Toni's to watch our cousins shoot of fireworks while Jack stayed back with Nana and Papa for a bath. They said he watched the fireworks for a little while and everytime one would go off he would point and say, "Wow!" It was a much needed weekend spent with family!

Jack couldn't wait to swim...so he took a skinny dip! Then he decided he needed swimming trunks on.
Jack LOVES to dip things...here he is hogging the entire bowl of ro-tel. Only a Nana would let him do that!
Nothing like a fudge bar to finish a meal. This picture does no justice in showing you how much food he had ALL over him!
No words...this is my cousin Cody in my grandpa's glasses!
My cousin Ellie was showing Jack how to get in and out of the car...of course Jack didn't like being helped. We are working on that!

Dad cooking it up on the grill!

Chris and Aunt Toni pitching washers! They are both VERY competitive...too bad this game to 15 lasted like an hour!

My sister, Ashley, and her husband, Chad. They've been married almost a year!

This is my Daddy! We are so alike it is scary at times!

Road Trip to St. Louis!

Okay, so our 4th of July trip to St. Louis didn't have a great start! Ashley and Chad were suppose to drive to our house and leave from there. Well, their car only made it to Milan! So, while they were having it towed we headed to Milan to pick them up and head to the city. When we pulled up I was laughing so hard! They had all their things in a Wal-mart cart and their dog, Gracie, on a leash! They looked like a hobo family looking for a ride, so of course we picked them up. We finally made it to mom and dad's house by about 9:30...not bad for such a rough start!

The traveling family!

"It's going to be a long ride!"

I get this look from Chad quite a bit! :)

Jack loved his sunglasses...little did he know they were missing a lens!

He couldn't make up his mind between the ice cream cone or milkshake...so he went for both!

Take me out to the ball game!

Chris played softball with some of the guys from Eastwood last Tuesday night. It was a lot of fun watching him try to walk the day after, but I think all in all he had a good time! Jack LOVED it! Of course he didn't stay in one place longer than 30 seconds, but he has things to do and things to see!

Chris playing 3rd base

Jack loves the sweet ladies at the ball field! This was his 2nd package of Smarties!!

"Throw one here Dad, I'm ready to play!"

Precious boy looking like his Daddy!

Please let me play, Daddy!!

My Buddy!

These two are big buddies! Jack said Austin's name the entire time we were in the car on the way to Murray. After taking this sweet pick they ended it with a small wrestling match :) They both were laughing so no one was hurt. We love our weekly visits with Mindy and Austin!!

Some days you just need a cat nap!

This morning Jack laid his head on my chest as I was lying on the bed talking on the phone. The next thing I knew he was fast asleep! I just LOVE looking at his precious face while he sleeps. I haven't had a good napping picture since he was itty bitty! Oh how quickly he is growing!! This nap only lated 30 min. and he was so happy when he got up!
This picture says it all! He is my precious boy!

Did somebody say CATFISH!

So, we are really enjoying Jill and Joe living so close! We met up with them last Friday night in a fancy town called Dover ! Ha! Here we are at Cindy's Catfish Cabin (?) enjoying a lovely meal... No really, the catfish and beans were fabulous! And they brought like a small jug of sweet tea for each of us...YES!

I had to put both pics on here cause look at Jack looking at Joe....so funny!

VBS at Eastwood

Jack loved VBS at Eastwood. We were only able to go two days, but we enjoyed those two days. He was one of the older kids in his class...which was wierd for me, but he did really well. Now the pictures below do not show the actual learning and teaching that took place...I wouldn't want to interupt, but here are some of the other enjoyable moments :)

Ice Cream!! His teacher was impressed he could eat it by himself...however he would have it no other way!!

Oh yeah! Toys!
