Okay so we might sound like the Beverly Hillbillies, but I totally felt like we "loaded up the truck and we headed to Beverly." Last Thursday we left for a quick trip to St. Louis to see my mom and dad for the weekend. It was a great time, and a much needed trip home. However, when my son was so excited that we were going to the mall...it dawned on me it doesn't really realize what a mall truly is...he hasn't been to a real mall since he was tiny so boy was he in for a treat. Let me tell you that you can skip the amusement parks cause the mall is full of fun and adventures for a two year old...one would think we don't get out much!

He was proving to me that he actually ate his spaghetti...
So they had this play area in the mall for kids to run around at...again cheap entertainment!
Then we moved on to this cool police car/stroller...oh yeah...riding in style!
Below you will see that my son may have been in the city, but he still wanted to ride the "buck" on the merry-go-round! His daddy would have been proud!
This was a fancy merry-go-round so it had a second level...Jack got brave and wanted to ride the 2nd time around up top...Nana said he kept saying..."Go faster!"
We ended this fabulous outing with a ride on something they call an esculator...what a big day in the city! Jack now loves to "shop" ....little does he know he didn't do much of that this day!
